There will also be a presentation that will be showed at school to let students be aware of the Safety Leader Program and that it is now in effect and what it will do. Their will also be posters hung around the school.
Low Functioning Prototype
My low tech prototype was physical and the final prototype will be digital. To use my low tech prototype, I will act it out. For my low tech prototype, I will create a mock scenario they will go through, where I will act as the teacher, teaching the user on various safety tips. It will stimulate this by making the user go through about 3-4 different sessions where they will learn about school safety and more, and near the end feature a mock scenario where they will be tested if they can help lead a group of kids to safety.
My Final Functioning Product

My final functioning product is a kit and is located on Symbaloo. The trainers can access this kit via a link and use its resources and lesson plans to train the trainees. To start using the product, you will sign up for the SLP and start going through the multiple sessions where you will be taught on safety tips in emergency situations like school shootings, fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, etc. You will also be taught on staying calm under pressure and go through multiple mock trials of an emergency situation.
The trainees will be taught information about school safety. They will be taught and tested on that information and they will then graduate from the program, knowing the right things to do to help high schoolers in emergency situations. Focus Group Feedback
To collect feedback for my final functioning product, I talked to Coach Johnson, The Principal of Firestone High School. He told me that he loved my product and would 100% use it in his school, no hesitation. He told me everything looked great and the only suggestion he gave me was to not stray away from the emotional aspect of my problem during my documentary.
